Favorite FHE

Everyone in the family loves this family home evening lesson. It's the second time we've done it, because the kids have requested it every week.

First, we talk about temptations and how they're Satan's way of trying to make us unhappy. When we keep the commandments, we have more power to resist temptation and we are happier.

These kids didn't keep the commandments very often, so when Satan (aka Dad) hurls his fiery darts and temptations (aka marshmallows) at them, they aren't very well protected.

These kids kept the commandments most of the time, but they're still susceptible to temptation.

These kids kept the all of the commandments all of the time and are very happy.

My favorite part of these pictures is that Charlie doesn't seem to care that he's being hit by marshmallows, but enjoys a good snack.

  1. Okay I am going to have to borrow this idea for family night next monday. We play "hide the sheep" just about every other week! You really do have the cutest little kids. We need to have sunday dinner soon!

  3. Nate, you should use a PVC pipe marshmallow shooter for increased fiery-dart accuracy and range.
